    Exclamation Major Problems with NESticle

    Hello,

I got WinXP MCE 2K5 SP2 OS I DLed NEStc042 from your website, scanned it (I do that with all download file cant be to safe no offense), it was clean with AVG, extracted it, changed its compatibility mode to Win 95 256 640 X 480 mode, ran it and it changed my display settings to 320 X 200 8 Bit, I tried to End Task it no good. Think that is weird I logged out re logged in and it AUTO RAN I didn't tell it to do that! After that I re booted to the Recovery Councle, went to the C:\Windows ----> C.. C:\Del C:\Nestc042 and worst off all it said ACCESS DENIED! I finally got rid of it (I think and hope) by going in to safe mode and deleting it form there! Now the questions:
1a Any one have this happened before?
1b If, Yes, How you fix it.
2 Is the problem with my OS, PC (HP M7360n) or the game?
    3 Can it be fixed?
4 Think its a hidden Virus?

Any help would be very much help full!

wheeewee, that title can be read wrong..

I would suggest a windows GUI based emu for XP, like jnes. NESticle is a nice emu but very out of date.

Nesticle can't be run on WinXP AFAIK. Only works on either Win98 or WinME.

Ya I think you would need to use dosbox if you really wanted to do that..
