You project looks very interesting. Why don't your post a direct link to the kick starter campaign on your web page. (on the main page).

I had tried a lot of Controller-to-USB adapters on the Windows platforms, and I have some disappointment to see good looking/working hardware with really bad/outdated drivers. Since you project is going to use/generate open source drivers it is very promising.... But I'm sorry I don't have the money to back you up.

YES! Resounding yes that it works with Android. I tested it with my Nexus 7 and the MD.emu emulator ... it instantly detects all four of the USB devices, numbers them 1-4 in fact (which is smarter than Windows since it doesn't), and instantly began to use the NES pad I had plugged in to navigate menus, no configuration required.
Now I expect most emulators will need some sort of configuration, but know that this is a completely Android-friendly device!

If this new kickstarter doesn't pan out, have you considered other crowd funding sites? Is there a specific advantage to using kickstarter?

I think the fundraiser you use is irrelevant. Its all about advertising for your campaign. This time around I have 5 helpers last time I had 3. The help this time around is much more aggressive. I wish I had 10 more like them...

If I do choose to try this again, I may change just for the fun of trying another.
