Seems like their having a hard time of "netplaying" online with emulators, except for ZSNES (Super Nintendo Emu)... Not sure, but then again, don't know what system your going for, though figuring Gameboy Advance...?

Long ago (2001?), i traded pokemon from Pokemon Red to Blue and way another using GBC emulator...so it is possible.
