Problem With Netplay

Sorry if my post is confusing but I have been searching around and it seems like no one plays area 51 and Jurassic Park for MAME anymore lol.

Im having problems with either my MAME controls or de-sync'ing. When I try to play one of these games on Kaillera over lan with some friends the game does start up and it seems like everything is working fine but when the first level starts up the controls for the other player dont seem to respond. I can and manipulate my controls and move the cross hairs around with my mouse but the cross hair for the other player is dead on the screen and its just the same for the other player, he can shoot, move and manipulate all of his controls but can not see any activity of the other player on his screen. You are able to see the shots fired from the other players cross hairs most of the time but other than that its useless to netplay with these games. I was thinking maybe its a ports issue but we are playing over a lan so its not nessesary to open any. There isnt any problems playing 2players on a single computer and all controls work fine this way. I have joystick enable and mouse enabled in Default game options and for these particular games. I can play other games without any problems on netplay. My question is does Area 51 and other games similar work using the Netplay feature?

If anyone could help me figure this out that would be great. It would be awsome if i could get these classic games to work on Netplay. If you need more info i would gladly post it. Im using MAME32 Plus! 0.118u1, Kaillera v0.9, Windows XP 32 bit.
