Emulate Mac OS X Question

I don't plan on emulating Mac OS X soon, but I was wondering if I do emulate it will my computer be less likely to get virus', worms, etc..

Or since I'm running Windows in the background it still will?

That depends...

If your Windows just sits there inactive, while you run the MacOS, and do all your web browsing, etc there.. Then yes it is less likely
