    Default Requesting ePSXe Assistance

Greetings, my friends. I'm new [to this forum] and need help with ePSXe. For some unknown reason ePSXe won't play the music for any games. This is
happening with CD-ROM and ISO's. Also, 9 times out of 10, when I close the emulator, my cpu usage spiks to 100%, and my PC slows to a pathetic crawl.
    Any help would be great/lifesaving.

Make sure both XA and CD-DA is enabled. About the 100% thing, press Ctrl + Alt + Del, click on processes and spot epsxe.exe there.

Processes, yes, I do that each time, but i wanna know why it does that.
If it's s'posed to, thats fine, but if not, I wanna fix it[somehow]. Teh music does work now. Many thanks from me and my FFVII-addicted cat.

How are you exiting from ePSXe?.

You have to physically close the emulator down using the exit command from the toolbar. If you escape out of it, it remains 'live' in the background.

Yes, I do that every time. Actually, the cpu problem seems to have fixed itself, as many things in my life do. However, there's still no music, 'cept for FFVII.
