Default Ocarina of Time Glitch (Project 64)

Hey fellas, I hope I am not asking any obvious questions on this board but I am desperate for an answer.

Ok, I am playing Zelda 64 on the Project 64 and in begining of the game, Kokiri village is all black. Is there a plugin that can fix that?

I have a windows XP, decent graphics card, ton of ram, and the latest directx sound card.

I really need some feedback from you all.

    THX.

one more thing, what about Mario Tennis? THats loaded with glitches, can that be fixed as well?

We need to know certain things before we can help you. By saying you have a decent graphics card won't help, since we cannot determine if it's compatible with DirectX and/or video plugin (v6 or v8, depending of your video card). We need to know the following:

    • DirectX version installed.
    • Video card (brand, model and video memory, for example: ATI Radeon 9200 128 MB or nVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 128 MB).
    • Video plugin used.

If you give us that info, we can determine the best video plugin that suits your video card.

Unfortunately, GeForce MX 4000 card, being a DirectX 8 card, doesn't take real advantage of this technology, so it lacks of pixel and vertex shaders the Jabo's Direct3D8 was designed for, IMHO.

Possible solution: Try switching from Jabo's Direct3D8 to Jabo's Direct3D6. If it doesn't work, try with another 3rd party plugin. You can get them at NGEmu.
