Nes - doesn't work with Nestopia

hello all,

i''ve been trying to play a modified version of Mario on Nes.

I have no trouble playing said game with Jnes, but for some reason i'm not able to play it as it should be with Nestopia. With Nestopia 1.37, the startup screen is completely normal except it says "WORLD 0-1" instead of "WORLD 1-1".

And when i start playing, i end up in a completely different level (a underwater one), also labeled as 0-1. when i beat it (it's a fairly easy one), the game just goes back to the startup screen.

i'm pretty new to nes emulation, so it's completely possible that i may have missed something "obvious".

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks...

Try virtuaNES.

well, the point is being able to play it with Nestopia

Some nes emulators will not able to play the hack rom. Try this emulator.
