Default Emulation? Waste Of money? Cool Idea? Super Joystick TV Game

Whats your ideas on this "thing"? Dunno If This has been brought up befor here im sure it has but as you can see im new and was wondering ^_^

Im sure many of you have seen this "Toy" in stores and wonderd if its worth the price (if i remember it was about 50-60$ but i can be way off) or infact bought it. Well i got one for Xmas and was extremly dissapointed. So Just wanna tell you all about my experiance with it for my first encounter with Oldschool games on "newschool" electronics.

Supose to Look like a n64 and sega Gen Controller Dissapoiment factor The Joystick on the n64 is just for looks no use there and the sega gen version is patheticly cheap in build unlike the tuff ones of the real console

Its Supose to have 76000 games...supose to... Its actualy repeat after repeat of the same games in the menu as you scroll down so its more like a few 100 games not even. So honestly your getting probly 1000 games in 10 different versions of eatch...i think...

Battery Pack (Usless) and Cartridge Slot and the o so nice made in china logo. Notice the 4 button design in the first picture and the lack of left and right triggers for snes...The Cartridge slot makes the controller so amazingly Uncomfy to hold.

The battery Pack didnt work for me right off the bat. Clearly The batterys dont fit properly into it But with jaming and force they barely do. When poped in and no power i tryed to take it out but to no luck. The battery pack gets stuck more then enough so that i needed to use pliers to remove it.

They Should Sell it with a roll of electrical tape Seeing as to the rubber just slides off from the devices.

    Nice....

So How is the gameplay? Not to bad The sega Controller can be used as a second player Controller and the lightgun works just fine and everything but i cant hold the camera and play a game at the same time soooo Here is a small 23 second video of a contra demo if you dont start the game right away.

All In all I personally think the quality of the equipment Lacks in such a way it disgraces the fact of what it does all together. From The crappy rubber on the wires to the cheap build of the controllers and the false sense of 76000 individual games ruined the fun for me all together.

Since I got this Thing i played it 3-4 times and forgot all about it. I used Zsnes with a few roms on linux for a few years and now i Bought a logitech Ps2 like controller for my PC to use for emulaters which has pleased me more then The super joystick tv game can ever....upseting...so what are your thoughts, reviews, and arguements? ^_^ Id love to hear. Hope you Liked the read I just really felt people who are into Oldschool games that come across this know what its really all about befor deciding to buy it.
