Thread: ePSXe crashes

  1. #1

    Default ePSXe crashes

ePSXe used to work fine, now when i try and use it i get a little popup saying no WGL extensions.

what does this mean? do i just need to get a new plugin?

Im currently using gpuPeteOpenGL2, and this is the one that seems to be not working, as the title of the popup is this one.

    Hello Elfen Lied,

Try Peopsoft v1.17 or Petes OGL 1.76. I think It's Your Video Card does not support pixel shaders.

it might be your video driver. Did you install the video driver?

hmm not really sure. Pretty sure i did.

everything seems to work with PSX v1.12, just not ePSXe.

im trying different emulators to try and fix my problem with the Medievil PS1 rom i have.

Pete's open Gl, D3D and DX6 D3D drivers all make the game go really, really fast.

    Hello Elfen Lied,

You have to enable Use FPS Limit & Autodetect FPS to check the regular speed. epsxe>config>Video or PSXevenv0.19>Config>Graphics

I gave it a try but it still seems to be messing up.

PSX v1.12 seems to be working fine so im going to use that one, after i get a new copy of the game (Medievil), my old one seems to be pretty beaten up.
