Nes Netplay Question...

I am trying to find out if there is any way with a NES emulator to load save states or battery saves during a netplay session over the internet. I want to play season (ie Tecmo Bowl) with a friend over the internet but have not found a way to load them so we can pick up in the middle of a season for head-to-head games.

I don't know if you've tried this.

make sure you have the exact same rom, with an exact copy of the save state, in the proper locations, and then try loading a state when your netgame is going ?

I don't know if it will break sync or not, never tried to load save states on the net before
