I need Help and every other site is stupid

I dont kow why but I cant get the game genie to work on my NESX. Anyone know why? The game is dragon warrior 1.

Well i am not sure of it but i think it's because of the emulator.That emulator NESX made me suffer for a long time at the begining ,i suffered a lot even configuring my controller.I think it because it's to old and it's in DOS .May be you can try Jnes last version .May be it support your game genie codes.I hope it can help even i am not sure of it

I think i figured out the solution but i don't know if it will work with dragon warrior 1
It 's so simple .Just use the fceu ultra emulator and it has the option of game genie codes which you can enable at the config menu .Try it out.

yeah! using a new and the l8est (more accurate) emu will help a lot..
