the games are all in japanese so no patch and no$gba is the ds emulator but play the gba versions

You can try iDeaS 1.0.1.7a too but it didnt support gamepad. You will have to use keyboard instead.
Anyway....
Yes, no english but it is not so hard. You can try the map at www.gamefaqs.com. The speed can be slow sometime so do not complaint about it. It does support gamepad.
This emulator is still in development, ok ?
