Default MAME 0.116u4 Even more improvements into the CPS-3 driver

    CPS3 updates: [David Haywood, ElSemi]
    - Corrected Clock speed, used idle skipping instead of reducing the
    clock speed.
    - Optimized some GFX functions. It now only decodes RAM based tiles
when it needs to draw them, not every single time the data changes
    - Added support for CD flashing
    - Added support for alternate BIOS sets
    - Changed code to use a custom render function

This is only part of the U4 update

MAME has been working fine for me. Is the latest update worth the download?

Take a look at the whatsnew.txt and you will see which systems/games have been added/improved. It all depends on which games you want to play.

Let me share my years of experience with you. Dont download the "u" releases unless your a complete arcade nut. just wait a month and get the stable non u release. its realy that easy.
