    Default Bin file?

I got a game that is a BIN file, and I'm using GENS 2.14 emulator. Can somebody please give me alittle crash course how to do it please? I don't want to open the file directly because I'm not sure what it might do.

    Thansk!!

A BIN file is a CD Image (usually). You should be able to mount it with a program like Daemon Tools

    Mount a genesis rom?

To get the game running first open the program, then go File>Open Rom, naviagte to where you keep your roms and select the game. If it doesnt run then you may need the bios files (Dont ask for them, its against the rules). failing that the game maybe corrupt or the game may not even be a genesis rom.

He could have just as easily been referring to a Sega CD image. He didn't specify

Sorry I meant a genesis ROM using GENS 2.14 emu for sega megadrive games. Thanks for the help but my freind told me now already. I was going to 'open with...' on the right click and it didn't work (I was trying to associate the file type) but I guess a bin file might not be a ROM at all so he said just go to file>open ROM. It all works fine so great
