Nintendo DS emulation is showing a pretty good progress in emulation, but it's still a bit slow and some games cannot be run yet.

Gamecube can emulate some games, but they're hella slow. You'd need a Dual-core processor to achieve at least a playable speed. Also, some games won't run, some won't go past the intro and some will just crash.

Wii emulator? I don't even think it will be possible, just imagine the controllers, unless they're operated with a real Wiimote using a Bluetooth receiver connected to your PC. Anyway, it's too soon to develop a Wii emulator.

butters, you said you needed a dual core to run gc games at playable speed, well my pc is a dual cor 64 bit intel core2 e6600 @ 2.4ghz with 2gb of 667 mhz ddr2 ram and an x1950xt video card, and dolphin runs at 3-4 fps for me.... on my amd 3200+ (not dc) it runs the same, its the emu that is the problem... dolphin 64 seemed promising with framerates of 30+ but then i heard something rediculus... the project is at a hult and the dolphin 64 beta will not be released. I'd understand not releasing the beta if the project was active but fres is working on "other projects" now but releasing the final beta woulda been nice, i would have if it were me....

When an emulator is just at the beginning of its development stage, developers tend to concentrate on compatibility rather than optimization (making the emulator faster), others do the opposite thing. Dolphin concentrates on compatibility, so we will see more slow 2 FPS games until a good amount of games are compatible... hopefully.

Remember, emulation is everything possible. You will be surprise when Wii emulator is coming out in the near future. Yes it is possible. Many people thought NDS emulator was impossible because of stylus but viola... Mouse. Now what's next for Wii's wiimote ? Mouse, of course. Or a usb adapter for wiimote, yes. It's possible.

Remember I said UNLESS they're operated with a real Wiimote using a Bluetooth...

I always thought DS emulation is possible since the first time I saw a Nintendo DS. The stylus thing was quite obvious.
