Pokemon Fire Red help

yeah so i was playing pokemon fire red on visual boy advance and uh, i get to the title screen and everything but when i press start it says that the 1M sub-circuit board is not installed

i read something about a patch but can't find anything so if you could find the link it'd be greatly appreciated ;o

EDIT: actually never mind, i got it working now

of course, you guys would've helped me right? :P

The 1M sub-circuit board is not installed item is not required at all to play any type of game on the VBA. You could turn it off in the menu.
