If it has a frame rate limiter, lower it to somewhere around 30-60 FPS.

Get the NeoRAGEx 5.0, works perfectly for me and my rig isn't great either.

Hmm, I've never had that problem. The problem might be that it's taking up too much RAM or CPU usage, but that's just a hunch.

I use Project64 with no problem whatsoever, so I recommend using that.
