I've having an issue in Dolphin where the buttons are not being mapped properly in the emulated Wiimote. It's not my gamepad, because it does the same thing when I use the keyboard. For instance, say...
Yeah, I asked byuu directly. Apparently the palette is computed using some algorithm, rather than a static set of values, so it can't be customized.
You won't need new ROMs. Some of the emulators I listed are said to be the most accurate NES emulators available, or in other words, compatible with the most ROMs. This is assuming your ROMs aren't...
Nester is a fairly old emulator, and is no longer updated. Fullscreen mode may no longer work with newer hardware or operating systems, or may never have been implemented properly in the first place....
I appreciate your suggestions but I've tried every one of those already. Here are my findings in point form. Your findings may be different. I'm just putting all these out here so maybe we can...
Cool :)
My computer is borderline good enough to use it. I've just been using Snes9x for SNES because it's way less strain on my CPU. One question about using bsnes for NES emulation though... is...
That's sort of what I'm currently in the process of doing. I used to use Nestopia until I started running into some minor sound glitches with recent hardware. Forget for a moment that I'm trying to...
Is that not accurate though? If you took an actual NES and hooked it up to an NTSC TV, would it not be 4:3? Or did it maintain 8:7? My original hardware is long gone and can't double check that.
Is there a way, in Nintendulator, to have the display maintain a 4:3 aspect ratio in windowed mode? It seems to be hard coded to maintain the native ratio.
Zsnes may have been king in its day; I certainly used it exclusively. However, it's pretty antiquated now. Snes9x is far more accurate and the interface is way less clunky. And again, this is coming...
I thought that the author said that he has neither the time nor desire to make the NES emulation in bsnes as accurate as his SNES. Maybe I'm wrong...
I've used several NES emulators over the years. My most recent go-to NES emulator used to be Nestopia. Until now, I haven't played since I upgraded my rig in 2009 (Windows 7 x64; Asus P5Q Pro; Intel...
