well ive played it on my pc (windows not mac) and the battle swirl animation did something simular.. but on epsxe they have a special fixes menu in the lower left corner of the video settings plugin...
i tried my version and i havent had any problems yet.... then again im not sure what part your at.. i only ran it for about a half hour so it could be a problem with a certain part of the game... but...
im not using a laptop im using a desktop....the specs up top are for my desktop with the exception of the cpu ... my laptop was the 2.2 ghz my desktop was 3.1 dualcore... im so close to the right...
your cpu is barely enough to run pcsx2 on its own and without knowing what graphics card u have it makes it even harder to determine if your pc is any "good" ... if your looking to run a ps2...
no special speed hacks to speak of... and ive been adjusting the graphical settings back and forth for a while now... just trying to find the right balance of it all
i just bought a copy of prince of perisa sands of time myself... ill run home this evening and play through it a bit... it could be a settings issue in your plugin ... id try lowering the graphical...
vintagetorrie is right on both counts.... we do not discuss where or how to get roms or iso's and it sounds like u have a corrupt iso. my advice... run down to your local game stop and buy a used...
more or less on the same subject ... is it more efficient to run the iso mounted to a virtual drive such as damean tools and have the emulator run it as a disk or use the emulators virtual mount.....
well with your graphics card being up in the air its still not certain
your pc is powerful enough to run it but the graphics and texturing could be questionable
id give it a shot... it really cant...
ill have to check those settings on my configuration cause im having some slowdowns as well .. thanks for the tip may save me some headache.
well for a quick and comical hack and slash i recommend castle crashers... a demo is available on xbox live and the full game is just a few hundred microsoft points... pretty fun and funny .. up to 4...
for the most part.. im still having some fluctuation in game speeds ... its alot more smooth now but still having a few times when it lags a bit... is there a way to get the game speeds a little more...
xenogears ftw... the cg in that game looks like manga... not to mention the storyline was incredible and extremely fun.
think ff7 meets gundam wing.
f.e.a.r is pretty sweet. its a fps with a bit of horror genre mixed in... play with headphones in the dark with the volume up and youll occasionally jump out of your seat.
well being a joystick enthusiast myself i can tell you that the best joysticks are usually the most simple... run down to your local best buy or electronics store and get a decent brand name usb...
ive ran a couple square enix games through pcsx and they have a few problems in them have you tried the special fixes box in the video plugin .. should be in the lower left corner of the plugin...
are you referring to stand alone games such as indie games and such? cause i could make a few recomendations

and i managed to speed up the graphics abit more by adjusting the resolutions and...
hmmm what about overclocking ... think it would help much?
