That doesn't look like any kind of MAME that I know of. The first pic appears to be of some unknown front end. The second pic looks like some kind of issue in your computer.

That old version of mame didn't have a menu. Maybe you're talking about mameui. There's a line of icons just under the menubar, click the one that says Grouped.

MAME doesn't have a -nogui option. You will need to adjust mgalaxy's settings. The latest version of mgalaxy is 7.1 that came out a few days ago.

Newest version is 2.9c

Open up mess.ini, find hlsl and change the 0 to 1. If you have a ini\mess.ini, do the same in there too.

I decided to Reset Firefox back to defaults, and the Add Exception button appeared.

Thanks... at least you are aware of it. My firefox has no option to add an exception... so I must use IE11 to get here.
