Would sony ps3 be fast enough to emulate a sega model 3 game
Re: Would sony ps3 be fast enough to emulate a sega model 3 game
I think is deffinantly possible to emulate a Sega Model 3 on the PS3.
Currently there is no known way to run unsigned code on the PS3. But you can install a linux distro on to the hard drive and run it on the PS3. You could then install a sega model 3 emulator onto that linux distro.

He said it could emulate it that doesn't mean he ment at full speed.

If it hasn't been tested before, explain how he would know. It's all theoretical.

Running a model 3 game in mame on a single core pentium 4 3ghz runs at about 10% speed,The ps3 is over 20 times faster than the pc but i'm not sure in what way,so maybe someone who knows can work out if it is fast enough.ha no harm in asking it's a interesting question.
