Is There any way to install a joystick in Kawaks

Hi i this is my first time posting here and i just wanted to know one little thing. I recentaly just download kawaks emulator(which is badass by the way) and i have the roms working, even the neo geo roms and started playing samurai shodown and i just reliesed something it's hard as hell to perform moves on a keyboard so i borrowed on of my friends controler for the pc but i have no clure how the heck to install the thing for kawaks. u probably get these alot and i am very sorry for that but it would be a dream if a can play samurai shodown the a controler.:)

will anyone help a newb pretty pls.

Check if it shows in the Windows control panel. If it does, you can assign the keys within Kawaks.

If the controller isn't showing in the Control Panel, it will also not work with MAME32.
