Gens v2.12b command line?

:confused: Does anyone know how to get a game to run from the command line under Gens v2.12? I used to use (for example): "d:software\emulators\gens.exe" "d:\software\emulators\roms\MortalKombat2.zip" with an older version of Gens but it doesn't work now I`ve updated to v2.12b. Any ideas? Why would you need that since you able to play it directly without making a command like what you posted just now? :)

Because I want to be able to run it from a Frontend (a games menu) in an arcade machine. The command line tells the Frontend which Emulator and ROM needs to be loaded when you select it with the joystick.
