Sonic & Knuckles.
Which Sonic 1? Which Sonic 2? There were different versions on the Master System and Game Gear.
Foo'.
I mean the version for the sega mega CD,mega drive and the genisis
Pftt, kids don't know their games. Or basic kitediddlery. Do you know how to diddle a kite, boy?
Well my vote is for Sonic CD.
The poll is for the Mega Drive games(so it says)
The only one missing is Sonic Spinball.
I will fix it even though no one is going to vote for it :P
I thought I had forgotten something oooops!!! :o
I voted for Sonic 2.I never got to finish that game.Has anyone defeated the last robot of Robotnic(the one after the robo-sonic)?I was hitting the damn thing for around 15 min but it wouldn't die. After all these years it's still driving me nuts.
BTW ,though they're not for Mega Drive, you could also add:
Sonic Chaos(game gear)
Sonic Triple Trouble(game gear)
Sonic 3D:Flickies' Island(PC)
This poll is for MD games...we can make another for the Game Gear versions(I liked them better!)
I think it is the same as Sonic 3D for MD.Quote:
Sonic 3D:Flickies' Island(PC)
(PS I move it to the SEGA section,it fits better there!)
OK :)
No it isn't.Quote:

Sorry
For what ?!?
The time limited to complete a stage is 10mins, how you got past that number is beyond me :PQuote:

I reckon sonic 3 bundled with sonic and knuckles was the best.
There wasn't a time limit at that boss if I remember correctly.Anyway I'haven;t played it for ..I'don't know ,six years(?) so I may be wrong.
If anyone knows how to defeat this devilish thing post NOW.Ι hane to learn.
Key rule: Don't get greedy.
You can hit him twice in his repetion thingy.
1st time: When he bends down, to fire his rocket arms, attack him as he ducks, then run like the wind to the left and juuuuuump!
2nd time: Just before he puts his jetpack on to fly above you, before he tries to squash you by homing in, he ducks before he flies off, you can hit him then also.
Hit him 8 or 10 times (think its 8, not sure) and he's dead.
Then, run to the right as fast as you can.
End.
B)
Weird, I can swear I was hitting him much more than 8 or 10 times and he just doesn't die.I remember that once I was hitting him for so much time that I eventually got bored and closed it.Could it be that I didn't have all chaos emeralds or that I had it in a cartridge along with Sonic 1,and Dr Robotnic's Meanbean machine, therefor it could be a slightly different version?I can't find any other explanation.
Im really bad at sonic and knuckles.I cant even get past the second level let alone the rest of the game. :(
The things you mention don't alter the final boss.Quote:

I killed it pretty easily the way KidneyKai mentioned.
This level made want to break my Mega Drive.Quote:

It is a level with endless sand inside a pyramid.
Then I don't know what the hell was happening.Anyway it doesn't matter that much after all these years. At least I found out how it was supposed to end.Quote:

I hated that stage as well.Quote:

It was hard <_<
It was worth it when you get to Lava Reef Zone Act 1. One of the best stage background music EVER!
I never got to that bit
Somehow, the only Sonic game I've ever played in my life was Sonic for Sega Gamegear, and even that for no more then 10 minutes.
Did you know that you can unlock Sonic on the mini games on Sonic adventure DX and other Sonic game gear games B)
The game says it on the back side of th DVD box. However I didn't do it cause I don't have much free time to play my GC.I prefer playing the unfinished FF10 on PS2 or the new Yugioh game for my GBA.
Man I really love the Sonic games in the Game Gear .
I have all of them in original cardridges.
I enjoyed those ones too, but on the Master System instead of the Game Gear (practically the same system). Most Mega Drive/Genesis players and younger teens never knew they existed :-)
Too bad for them missing the best 2d platforms ever.Quote:

It is a pity my Game Gear broke :(
hail to GBA flash cardridges and to the man who encoded the Game Gear emulator for GBA!!!
How many are they?BTW I still have my game gear, and imagine that it fell from my bag during a school trip at the 999 stairs of Nafplio.Around 30 meters from the ground,it hit three times on rocks and fell on a tree, yet it still works perfectly. That's a quality made console.Quote:

I burned it from overuse :D
Man I love this console.
The Sonic games on the Game Gea are
Sonic
Sonic 2
Sonic Spinball
Sonic Drift
Sonic Drift 2
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Chaos 2 or Trible Trouble on Europe
Sonic Labirinth
Sonic Blast.
I think I didn't miss any game.
Sonic the Hedgehog was the first game I ever had (came with my first console, the Master System II with Alex the Kidd in Miracle World built in. Why don't new consoles have a free game built in?!). That version is much harder than the one on the Mega Drive (which i got 6 months later). You really felt a sense of satisfaction when you completed old games after so many tries. Bet no one who has completed Sonic the Hedgehog on the Master System/ Game Gear forgot the ending theme song.
If you did. SHAME ON YOU!!
New consoles don't have games built in because most games are well over 700MB in size, and 700MB of ROM is expensive.
I voted Sonic 1... but I also like Sonic and Knuckles
Off-topic: Who found the secret built-in game on the Master System MK I?
IS sonic 2 the one with tails
Not the only one,but yeah.
This thread really makes me want to play a sonic game. I think I'll go home and fire up an SMS emulator.
