i was told that there was a file i could get to add to an emulator that would automatically translate japanese games for me, could someone confirm this and if true, can they also help me by explaining how to go about doing so.

That's a translation patch but it needs to be for that specific game.
It depends on what game you just trying to mention. :cool:
