What did you ask for for Christmas?
As I'm rapidly running out of clothes which are not bleach-stained or torn, I asked for - slippers
- some sweaters
- sweatshirts
- the AKR t-shirt here
- jeans.
I also asked for a variety of CDs and DVDs, especially - the Wilco DVD (I Am The Man Who Loves You: A Film About Wilco By Sam Jones)
- Tenacious D's DVD
- the new Special Edition DVD of Fargo
- any of The Dismemberment Plan's CDs
- Van Morrison's Moondance CD
- Blur's Parklife CD
I've started reading voraciously again, so I asked for:- any fiction by Douglas Adams
- any fiction by Kurt Vonnegut
- anything by Haruki Murakami except The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle and The Elephant Vanishes (both of which I already own)
- The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
In addition to all that, I asked for some Legos; the Kill Bill, Vol. 1 poster (the one with the metallic sword going down the center of the poster); and a slide viewer/projector (for single slides, not one of those big rotating things).

But by the time I told her, (1 week ago) she said it was too late and she had already done all the shopping.

I want Christmas to be cancelled.
I am probably getting nothing for Christmas, other than the token something that the girlfriend feels compelled to buy me.

i feel i should brag that i actually bought my family presents this year and wrapped them myself! i mean, sure, they are the most piss poor wrapped presents youll ever see, shit i even used staples cause my mums present was so hard to wrap but i did it all by myself! :lol:
