Heh, neither do I.
Nerd: 1. A foolish, inept, or unattractive person.
2. A person who is single-minded or accomplished in scientific or technical pursuits but is felt to be socially inept.
I don't mind the second one.

"geek" refers to a canrival freak who bites the heads off of live chickens. I don't know anyone who would prefer that to nerd.
geek also refers to a person who is a wannabe nerd. a person who acts like a nerd, but doesnt know shit about what he is talking about
yes... thats me alright
I'm not going to miss it. I haven't been using it for almost a year now, it eventually became something that I used once a week for a few minutes. After Waz introduced me to Soulseek, I haven't touched it still :)
Yeah, I hardly download on my dialup connection at home, and I know for a fact that Kazaa will be blocked when I go back to school. I only hope they haven't caught on to SoulSeek or eDonkey/Overnet yet.
Here is a thread that is quite intresting. Click the link within it for more info.
As you can see the hunt has begun.
The thing with Freenet is that you don't know what you're sharing. It allocates x amount of your hard drive space for files that other people are sharing, but they are encrypted or something in a way that you can in no way know what is there. It's like if you were a mailman and you delivered kiddy porn from one person to another. You wouldn't be held responsible for "trafficking" because there would be no legal way for you to know what was in the mail you delivered.
Sounds reasonable. Maybe I should step up a few, from 3, to 5 year olds.
;)
how do i get a picture next to my name????????
