is 3 players in a classic sonic game is possible?

I have a sega Genesis emulator that I used for different classic sonic games, there was one game called : sonic classie heroes, and it was the only game that have 3 playable characters. But my emulator only takes two players, is there a Genesis emulator that can take to 3 players.😯

Your emulator needs to support multi tap. I dont know of any that do but it looks like the core used in RetroArch does, so there has to be one emulator out there that does.

I believe the game your referencing is a fan game. No Sonic game on the Genesis supports more than 2 players.
