Anyone else has this problem Panzer Dragoon Saga?

I'm emulating Panzer Dragoon Saga in SSF. It has worked well so far, until now. Apparently I have not been the only person that this glitch but it's not well documented at all, so here it goes:

When I reach the Guardian Dragon boss fight in Disc 2 and beat the first phase, a cut-scene appears as the dragon awakes, your npc friend talks and then the music goes silent and the camera rotates around the battle in an infinite loop.

I tried moving the backup folders (save data) from different versions of the SSF from one to another but the result is always the same. I may make a video on this, but I wanted to know if anyone knows how to fix this.

There are still some things I wan't to try but the future does look dark indeed.
