Issue with Phantom Hourglass

I want to play Phantom Hourglass using no$gba because the game runs smoother than on Ideas or desmume, but I've heard that it requires a mic and to close and open your DS, also IDK if it requires solar sensor aswell, so I was wondering how to begin and complete the game on emulators? and btw I also heard that no$gba has saving problems meaning savestates and internal game saving on this particular title for the DS.

I think is not worth it if I start playing this game but I can't complete it
