Kiga Fusion - 20 mins to start?

I have HyperSpin installed. It had been working fine

But now any games on Fusion take literally 20 minutes to start.

I've tried starting Fusion outside of Hyperspin, without a ROM and it's the same problem - almost exactly 20 minutes before the screen appears with the static. Once it's loaded, ROMs load quickly and without a problem.

Have tried with multiple versions, all the same.

Has anyone seen this before?

20 minutes? it's too long ???
