When you write it send me the text on a private message along with any pictures you might have and I'll set up an article for you.

Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)

Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
First of all, hello I'm Darkrangerred and I'm new here,
I just used that method to convert data from the Gameboy Color game
"Super Robot war Link Battler" into the N64 "Super Robot War 64" game (Its a Japanese game) and it works.
My question is, is there ANY emulator or any way that you can send data from the N64 game save file to the GBC game save file since you could do this with the actual games and Transfer pak.
If not that's ok

Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
My PJ64 only has mem pak and rumble pak. Not Transfer pak. Do I need to upgrade or something?
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Mine doesn't say transfer pak.....it only has mem pak and rumble pak and none...............do I need to Upgrade?
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Yes, you MUST upgrade your plugin in order to use Transfer Pack.

Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
It's compressed. Just extract the content into the plugins' folder.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
dun see it all i have is project64 1.6 folder
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Check INSIDE Project64 folder.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
I download the plugin and stuff but when will there be an upgrade to use the GB tower?! it's very frustrating.:fuckyou:
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
That's something I can't tell, because I didn't design the plugin :glare:
Why using the GB tower? Just use VBA to play with the GBC games.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
all there is unistall and project64 1.6 shortcut
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
I don't wanna use the VBA i wanna try it on the GB Tower.:fuckyou:
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Can you try to be a bit polite? Also that big red font doesn't help too much
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
There's no way you can use the GB tower at the moment, unless they keep releasing more N-Rage´s plugin versions.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
and that would hardly happen since N-Rage Plugin for PJ64 specs is discontinued
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Errr, You can use the older Jabo Input Versions instead of using that buggy N-Input Thing.
Oh and butters Update your Pj64 to 1.6 if you haven't already, O.o
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Jabo's input doesn't support Transfer Pak and yes, I have 1.6.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
hmmm i m using VBA to play my pokemon silver , i wanted to transfer the pokemon to my Pokemon Stadium 2 and battle so i used the transfer pak but it keep saying Saved File not Found , my rom is not corrupted i checked and when i go to File > Import > Battery File and open my .sav file on my VBA it gives a warning : "Importing a snapshot file will erase any saved games and reset the emulator."
anyone ???
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Can you play Pokemon Stadium 1/2 on LAN with your friends like Trading and playing with Eachother ? on different PC's offcourse..

Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
ok guys--one problem. Pokemon blue and red don't come in .gbc files... do they? all i can find are .gb files.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
I don't think they're compatible with Gameboy Mono games. Gameboy Color only.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
hmm... so it's not compatible with pokemon red or blue, and apparently yellow doesn't work. has ANYONE gotten pokemon stadium 1 to import pokemon from any of the three games?
btw i know pokemon stadium 2 works with silver and stuff.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Yep. Red, Blue, Yellow (Pokémon Stadium), Silver and Gold (Pokémon Stadium 2)... all of them worked for me.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
holy crap really? could you help me out?
my problems are:
1) i can't get a red/blue rom that ends in .gbc, only .gb
2) when i load up the .gbc and .sav for yellow, it says my save isn't there.
thanks a lot, butters. jeez you reply fast!
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Hmmm... have you tried updating your input plugin and tried with different rom versions?
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
Yeah i got the latest like 1.83 or something and i tried like, 4 yellow roms...
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
i know this makes me sound really gay but... is there a way you could direct me to the place you got your pokemon games or something? i'd really like to use Pstadium to the fullest.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
It doesn't sound gay, but it breaks the forum rules. Asking for roms is not allowed.
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
well are your blue/red versions .gbc?
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
-
Re: Nintendo 64 : How to emulate Transfer Pak (For Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2)
ok guys... this is totally ridiculous but...
i got it to work by changing my .gb to .gbc BY RENAMING IT. I DON'T KNOW HOW THAT WORKS, BUT IT WORKS. WTF.
anyway i'm happy ;)
oh yeah save at a pokemon center. -_-
