Need help with Project64 and Pokemon Stadium

So I'm trying to play Pokemon Stadium on Project64. Everything was going okay until a Pokemon used the move Substitute. All of a sudden the game crashed and an error message popped up on the screen saying "Fatal Error Emulation Stopped". I thought maybe it was just a one time thing, but it happened again when a Pokemon used Substitute. I'm assuming it's an emulator problem but I don't know for sure. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, does anyone know how to fix it?

Ive never had this problem. Have you tried a different N64 emulator? Or using a different video plugin, or changing core settings?

I haven't tried a different emulator no. Can you recommend any other N64 emulators?

As far as the other stuff, I'm not super familiar with emulators in general, so I don't know how to do the other things you mentioned.
