There's a project on GitHub and several other sites containing code for a possible-to-be PS4 emulator called PS4EMX. It appears to be very early in the beginning stages of development, but it looks like it might get somewhere sooner than some may've thought. Once homebrew PS4 games start appearing, I see the emulator plunging forward like rpcs3 did, especially since everything will be high-level emulated. What do you guys think? Could any computer handle it?
We know about the emulator, no you cant use a computer of this age to play on it. When the emulator starts running games, give it 5 years + and you may get lucky. This is for ps4, not 3, I dont think we will see a playable 3 emulator for many years to come.
I agree with ulaoulao, it will be a long time before we see PS3 emulators let alone PS4 emulators. However given that PS4 and XB1 consoles have very similar architecture to PC's, we may see emulators for those consoles before we see ones for PS3 and X360.
That's just my opinion, but time will tell ;) I look forward to them once they are around :D
