007 Agent Under Fire. Is multiplayer possible over an internet connection?

Hey everyone!

Me and my best friend loved playing this game when we were younger. The multiplayer, which as with most games at the time was only available with a single console or LAN, was chaotic and awesome.
Nowadays, we both don't have gamecubes and live in different parts of the country.

So my question is this. Is there an option or crack to allow a gamecube emulator to play multiplayer over the internet?

Suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
