Question About PSX Gameshark
First of all, I've downloaded a epsxe 1.7.0 emulator and it's working fine. And on other people's advice, I got a PEC cheater, which is a gameshark for the PS1 emulator. The only problem is, it doesn't have the main two games I want cheats for (Megaman Legends 1&2.) So, two questions: How do you add games to the list for the PEC cheater that aren't already there? And the second question is, if that's too complicated (or if it can't actually be done), does anyone know of another good gameshark emulator that has cheat codes for these two games on it?
Re: Question About PSX Gameshark
Well you can go to the directory that the Pec is installed in and edit the main .ini file. But if you don't know basic language please do not edit it because you could mess up PEC.
Re: Question About PSX Gameshark
I would try downloading an emulator with a built in cheat module like pcsx-rr, It uses the same plugin system as ESPXE, except it has options for different controller plugins.
Re: Question About PSX Gameshark
Ok, I found the codelist in the Pec files and the long ass list of all the games and their codes. Problem is, there's a bunch of numbers and letters by each game, how am I supposed to know what numbers and letters to put besides the games that I want to add? (For example, this is beside a lot of games on the list: SLUS-00000.)

Well that is the disc code. You can check it by mounting the iso on daemon tools or Alcohol 120% and just looking at the disc name.Or enter the disc and there will be a file called SLUS (Depending which region it is it will be different.SLUS,SLES,SLPS etc.)and the number of the cd.Then add it to the main pec .ini and add the gameshark codes. But be careful.Make a backup of the pec .ini and then edit it.I added codes for about 20 games that weren't on the list.
Re: Question About PSX Gameshark
Funny, people right now doesn't use [pec] cheat database editor instead of using notepad?
