When it was around, it was quite dead. I'm sure Lefteris and Waz can testify to that. Very very few people around here use IRC, anyway. If you are reopening the chan, I'd propose using Rizon or IRCHighway, since there seem to be a large group that already use that server.

It would be a waste of Tim.

I agree, Tim's skills are best used elsewhere
