I tryed playing that game in ePSXe 1.6 and 1.7 and it appears that there is not music. The sound of the characters works but only the music is missing. Could a new sound plugin cure this problem and if it would which one do you reccomend? And yes, the music works on another emulator so it's not a problem with this one, one the other one there is no sound in cutscenes. Tnx infront
I think I remembered back when playing Spyro, the music stops and I think its apart of the game, but when your doing something you'll hear the music.
Anyways the plugin I'm using in my ePSXe emulator is

Volume: 1: medium OR: loud
Reverb: 2: PSX reverb (best quality)
Interpolation: 2: Guassian interpolation (good quality)

Enable XA playing: Checked
Change XA speed, if it is played too fast (more spu power needed): Checked
-Misc- [Do or Don't Try]
SPU IRQ - handle irqs in decoded sound buffer areas: Checked
Mono sound mode (for slower PCs/sound cards): Checked
