Gamegenie doesn't work with Fusion 3.6

Hello!

I dont know about you guys but i prefer gaming with unlimited lives or continues so i dont have to start all over again and again when i fail [yeah im a noob]. Well i picked up an Sonic The Hedgehog rom and im trying to use the gamegenie cheats (ATBT-AA32) <- Master Code, (GJ6A-CA7A) <- Infinitive Lives, but all they do is well, nothing. Game over after 3 deaths. So people, what am i doing wrong?

It was my fault all along, turns out that there is a difference of what ROM you are using, now everything works as it should be =).
