How do I trade Pokemon for Red and Blue?

Ok so I have the ROM/emulation for Pokemon Red and Blue, and I was wondering how I could trade Pokemon between the two?

I've been having a hard time finding a way to do any kind of trade through any of the pokemon games, on any emulator... Perhaps there is no link feature? I'd like to know just as much as you my friend.
