Windows 7 or vista..?

Hi to all
I am planning to buy new laptop.But confused little which system to buy.So please share your experience so i can get some ideas.which one is better..?

Windows 7. Period.

I have both and use both on a daily basis, and honestly, there doesn't seem to be a difference.

I wouldn't let the OS be the deciding factor on the laptop, nor would I pay extra for 7.

Go with Windows 7 you know you want it.

I went with Windows 7, and I've never gone back since. On Vista, my laptop would constantly BSOD and the microphone and internet controls would screw around. No such problems on Windows 7. I recommend it if you're having problems with Vista. If not, then don't fork over the extra cash.

Why would anyone want a beta os over a true release? Yes W7 is better?

I'm quite impressed over 7 so far, and I'm not a fan is vista.. They took there time on it and so far its looking good..
