Hello!
I just downloaded the epsxe playstation emulator, and tried to configure it. But i have problems with all my games.
In all games sounds and graphiks are stuttering sometimes for just a second. I've alleady tried several sound, and video plugins, but the result was allways the same. Sometimes even worse.
Soes anyone know what the problem is, or what i can try?
I would be very grateful for help.
emulator: epsxe 160 i tried newer and older plugins for graphic and sound.
my system:
Athlon Xp 2800+
768DDR
Geforce FX5900
WinXP Prof SP1

Try Pete's OpenGL plugins or any other 3D graphic plugin. Use Eternal SPU for sound.

Thanks for your tips, but nothing helped. I tried these plugins, at the end the ran smoother, but not perfect.
Maybe its a problem with the CD or the CD-drive?
Is it possible to create a image of playstation cds?
Or any other suggestions, what could help? :blink:

Have you read this tutorial. You can reduce the lag by reducing some quality of sound and graphics.

or you can download a full plugin pack from www.aldostools.com and see which of the 90 plugins feets your PC better.I had a lot of problems too with ePSXe ,but i changed emu and solved them all.

if ya having problems with stuttering sound and graphics
try runing in Software mode all of the frames are Drawn through
the computer not the video card.
hears what i recomend
full screen mode -> 1024x768
Streching -> Supereagle Streching
dithering -> no dithering

frame rate
-> use FPS LIMIT
-> FPS LIMIT 65 - 80 80 IS FASTER
-> Turn off frame skipping

Sound
Just use
ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2
