Street Fighter Alpha Anthology Hard Disk Save

When I read my SFAA PS2 manual, it says the game can save its data to the PS2's hard disk to speed up loading time and increase smoothness. But when I go to the main menu, where the hard disk save option should be, I don't see it. I have an old, large PS2. How do I get the game to save itself to the hard disk?

I know I posted this in another section of the forum, but that other section is too neglected.

Does your PS2 even HAVE a hard disk?

This is a forum, not a chat room. We do have real lives, so it can take a while before someone answers your post. Double posting won't help you.

How can it be smoother? I read some reviews and they say it's a arcade perfect port of SF Alpha series and Pocket Fighter.
