I just downloaded VirtuaNES emulator (to play the old nintendo games).

It rocks! Anyway, what USB controller could I buy that would work with it?

I also have Meka emulator that plays old Sega Master System games....

Will just ANY controller work with these emulators or how does that work?

Any advice is appreciated

I bought adapter nintendo game cube and psx controller from wal mart for only 10 dollars and run great on VirtuaNes emulator that I use. I just plug it to usb of my computer and set up controller with virtuaNes and you are ready to use it right away. :)

So you mean I should buy a Playstation controller with a "Nintendo Game Cube" to USB adaptor?

(Sorry for the simple questions, I havent really played video games since Sega Genesis:confused:)

Well in my opinion you want to go with adapters that is the us2 to n64 or usb to psx etc.. not a joystick it's self. That is only if you have old joysticks from consoles still. If you want ot just buy a joystick your just about ok with anything you buy now-a-days. Personally I would stay away from logitec as they like to install a lot of extra junk on your computer along with the drivers. But that just me...

ignore all that, you should get this:

i bought a usb nes controller from this site years ago and i love it, unfortuantly they dont offer it anymore. really though this is just as good, you just plug it into your pc and plug your nes controller into it. done.

if you want the real go for this.

or wait for a blissbox like me...........(btw its really hard to wait:dry:)

22 dollars ? That's ridiculous. I prefer walmart for 10 bucks and mine works perfectly for any emulators.

I was reading through this post and an idea popped into my head. I've got a Wavebird Gamecube Controller, would that even work with the Gamecube-usb converter? Technically it still has a plugin, but would it work being wireless?

I doubt but maybe I am wrong. I never liked wireless because you have to have batteries in it which is annoying, you know.
