mamewah help please

hi im a total noob been trying to set up mamewah as im making a cabinet.
ive set up a theme the rompath and emulator extentions.
succesfully created a game list.
problem is when i launch a game. the emulator loads up (no game).
if i quit the emulator the games then loads???
