Okay it is working...somewhat..... The games are loading now. however in some cases I get a menu of what looks like DOS script. And then it closes and nothing more happens. Some of the games in the files work, but others just bring up this DOS script, and bail me out. Are these ROMS defective...

What it be simpler to run an older version of MAME. I went back to 2015/ If I have to I will go back even further. My MAME is 0.239 and my ROMSET is 0.202.

Still can not get everything to work with MAME..... Systems like Apple2 GS, Game Park, Game Mate,Epoch, and V-Tech do not work I get the ROMS are not found error. So I download the entire ROM pack, and these ROMS are in there. And these were ROMS made for MAME I still get the ROMS not found...

Thank you for the reply , but you must undertsand I am a total idiot when t comes to this stuff. What exactly is a primitive UI. I know this about MAME, if I put a ROM in the rom file and it works, I am glad.If it doesn't I have no clue.

Thank you PIX07. SoI guess I am SOL on those sytems, I know there is a rule about where to find this stuff, so I will not ask. But I will ask this, (I hope it is permitted) , I just just give up on these systems as I will not find the ROMS anywhere?

Okay downloaded the new version, fresh install, still not working I get this. "The selected software is missing one more required files. Please select another software. But the entire rom is in the directory, at least I think it is the entire rom.

I have been trying to get this to work on my system, maybe you can help. If I run the 32 bit, it will start , but it will not play any game I load. If I try to run it on 64 bit, it says I am missing the five bios files. I figure both issues must center around the bios files.... Any thoughts?
