Hi
I'm new to this and was wondering how big on average are files for N64? Its just that i've downloaded some suspiciously small ones and so am a bit worried of opening them up.
Thanks

The small size I seen zipped is 8MB and the biggest I seen was 32MB zipped. How big is the file where are talking about here?

2 are about 11MB while 1 is 25MB. Everything seems to be in order then. Its just hard to believe that a game can be so small. :)

The N64 is a cartridge-based system. Carts are known for their (in comparison to optical media) small storage capacity, so 32MB is already pretty big for a ROM.

The smallest one is 4 MB (Turok: Rage Wars) and the biggest one is around 64 MB (Resident Evil 2). Of course only a few games are that big (Conker's Bad Fur Day, Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2). Most games are in the range between 8 MB and 32 MB.
These sizes are uncompressed.
