VisualBoy Advance

I have downloaded VisualBoy Advance and have been using it for over a month, just a couple days ago, I went to open it and nothing happened, I checked my task manager and it shows that it was running but the window would not open, I have run every scan on this program possible. I also have uninstalled and deleted the program, re-installed and tried to start it again, but still have the same problem. Can someone help!?!?!?!

after uninstaling it again try to take it off the registry
if you're running xp just start>run>regedit
then it should be in hkey_current_user\software\emulators\
just delete the visual boy advance directory in there
then try installing it again.
