Net game with ZSNES

hey guys, i want to play ZSNES with my frien ( net play) but it doesnt work..:dry:

The latest versions (1.43 - 1.5x) don't have netplay. You and your friend must get version 1.42 or 1.36 in order to play online. Decide which of you will be the server (preferably the one with the fastest connection) and then the server should give the IP address to the client (your friend).

jaja, i have 1.36 ..and the ip from my friend too...butit doesnt work!!

Then try connecting by TCP/IP. To do so, when creating a netplay session, disable "Enable UDP instead of TCP". Your friend must disable it too.

You: Start server.
Your friend: Connect to server.

Or vice versa.

Make sure your firewalls aren't blocking ZSNES. Also, do a ping to your friend's IP to see if there's connectivity.

i havE deaktived my firewall...my friend too^^ but it doesnt work..there is always: connectin and that stand there a lon time....if we make the UDP deseble there stand : ERROR

Now try with Zbattle.net (http://www.zbattle.net/). If this doesn't work, then I give up.

If one of you has an IP starting with 192 then you're using the wrong IP addresses, that's all I can think of.

You need the WAN IP address, reported in your router, or at www.whatismyip.com
